The Restaurant Pavilion is designed to make the most of the tropical downpours, with ‘ripple iron’ arched ceilings. The permanently placed 85 years old Railway carriages provide an intimate dining experience with the original 24 volt electricity supply providing soft and flattering light and the comfort of discreetly hidden air conditioning.

Breakfasts

Why not start your day at Freshwater Station or take the 8.30am train from Cairns to Freshwater, enjoy breakfast and then continue to Kuranda on the 9.50am service.

Freshwater Station have different Breakfast options available to you. They are;

Freshy Breaky 

Adult: $18.50                         

Child: $12.00             

Freshy Breaky includes:   Cereal, Orange Juice, bacon, eggs, tomato, toast and bottomless freshly brewed Tea and Coffee. Served by our host/ess.

 

John Robb’s Hearty Colonial Breakfast*

Adult: $28.50                         

Child: $18.50                         

John Robb’s Hearty Colonial Breakfast includes:   Fresh Tropical Fruit Platter, Australian Damper with Golden Syrup, Homemade Bacon and Egg Quiche, Orange Juice and Freshly brewed Tea and Coffee. Seated in our historical antique air-conditioned railway carriages. Served by our host/ess.
